Professional Experience
Equipped with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from UBC and certification as an ACE Personal Trainer, I have established a solid academic foundation to complement my practical expertise. Additionally, holding an EMALB license as an Emergency Medical Responder, I previously provided emergency health services with BC Ambulance Services.
In the past, I navigated real-life, high-stakes situations, delivering crucial care to individuals with diverse injuries and illnesses. This experience not only deepened my empathy and sharpened my communication skills; it also taught me to thrive under pressure, improvise effectively, all the while instilling a sense of safety and assurance in those I served.

As a Kinesiologist working with clients spanning different demographics, including seniors, children, and young adults, I have helped many recover from injuries—whether resulting from sports, overuse, or accidents. I've also trained clients to enhance their overall health and strength.

My clientele has encompassed complete beginners (who have never stepped foot in a gym!), amateur athletes striving to improve performance/recover from injuries, and everyone in between.
Before venturing into kinesiology and exercise therapy, I coached rock climbing for several years. As part of this role, I had the privilege of coaching climbers with various disabilities, including young children and adults on the autism spectrum, as well as a child with visual impairments.

These diverse experiences have provided valuable insights into human learning, fear mastery, and the process of recovery from pain and injury. They have underscored the significance of self-perception and the cultivation of self-love and a growth mindset.
Armed with this refined skill set, I am dedicated to guiding others toward the achievement of their goals.
